    Don't have the image, but I still have the stories . . .

    Colton was always the innovator . . .

    For a while, anyone that set a class record was a "national record holder", too.
    (They were the only strip to run 3/16 of a mile as they shortened the race length because of safety concerns of their short strip.)

    And now for more innovation . . . they switched to night drags and had one "Kleig (sp?) spotlight pointing down the strip off to the left of the starting line. If the guy in the left lane was losing by quite a margin, he'd block the light for the guy in the right lane. Cleaver, huh?
