SOLD Early Ford Backing Plates This is a matched pair of front plates off a '40 Ford front axle ***embly I'm parting out. Spindles, hubs/drums, radius rods, axle are also for sale Now take a close look here at the quality of these plates. RF, LF and Ford logo are clearly visible, telling us these aren't rusty junk. These are the early style with the adjustable bottom anchors. Wheel cylinders look like they are re-buildable. The brake shoes are new. The stenciled markings to tell shoe position are still visible. These were installed and never run. The drums I took off were grooved and never wore marks on the shoes. Included, as the pics show, are the grease baffles and original Ford square headed backing plate bolts and factory lock nuts. $150 + shipping. I take PayPal and ship via FedEx.
