I'll play too some tat inspired art i did for a vintage store

 

Time to bring this project to the for front of my mind. Designed back in 2006 for the project after my 57 wagon. Since the wagon has been sold before it was able to reach its full potential I decided to start working this concept over to see what it might take to build.

The Prohibition Express - it will get a nice root beer logo on the hand formed aluminum tank/trunk on the back.

 

i know its not old....but hey its some striping i did last weekend....sorry about the crappy pics..taking photos of silver leaf in the sun, really messes with my camera i guess...

 

Reminds me of the model kits I built as a kid...always wanted to build something like this...cool illustration...can't wait to see the real thing

i think to Jeff's quote "NON AUTOMOTIVE " art, i read it as something that does not fit the HAMB style. i like art/photos of rods and kustoms the best,
but if it looks like it fits the vintage style and has no image of a car, i still think thats accepted. and if stripings on a late model it still is good striping.
most of my professional work has nuthin to do with any of this... it's nice to have a place for this culture - whether its tattoos, airbrushing, photography,
design, rockabilly or rock n roll.

This is one of the coolest pieces of hot rod animation I've ever seen. It was done as a Masters thesis by my friend, Greg. He works for the Cartoon Network and they wouldn't touch this one! Atom bombs, Luchidors, hot rod UFOs, choppers, Nazis, and mad scientists... what more could you want?!
