Hot Rods Early gas cap ID

Any ideas
Just found it my old mans stash and I found a key too... Hope it'll fit the coupe.. Were these ford or aftermarketz.?

did some searching, didn't see any with the v8. saw several that claimed to be original with the ford script. maybe a bump will help you more. looks good regardless, enjoy.

 

very likely an aftermarket cap, as most of the car rolling off of the production lines didn't come with such an accessory.
