    So this is used instead of the Offy/Cragar 400 and 401 adapter? Does this mount to a Hemi starter plate?

    Yes as I get it their adaptor is 1 part and not 2, plus I think one need the std Chrysler starter plate. Se picture.
    The old way 400/401 one does not need the std plate.

    ( I can also say my flywheel is at 146 tooth…so early Hemi before 56 )

    They sell new mini hiTQ starters 12 V both 146 and 172 tooth fot Chrysler.
    #9530 for 146 and #9531 for 172, this is Powermaster but there are others.
    7 LBS.

    I has this one, 6V and 9 pich. Se picture.
    That f-r is at 11.5 kg or over 25 LBS, Ha !
