While this is not our distributor , we have had one fully rebuilt by the guru Bubba and it looks great. It is just a std. twin point type, but with a mechanical tach drive .
Just wondering what type of coil is recommended for these. And Where can we get a spare
Trash can style condenser , just as a spare.

    6 or 12 Volt?
If it is six volt check the coil in the Ebay add for a spendy allegedly nos Mallory and coil He has a good photo of he coil plus posted the Mallory number. That is what I remember as being a Mallory coil from when I was real young and just into hot rods
NOTE:: THIS IS FOR HIS INFO Not a look what I found on Ebay thing.

For trash can condensers, good un-split ones are hard to find. You can haunt eBay and the swap meets and hope to get lucky. Or, I have a limited supply of tested un-split original Mallory's at $50 (un-warranted), or my reproductions at $75 (one year warranty). PM me if interested.

The picture is of one of my reproductions mounted on a restored Olds Rocket distributor converted to dual points.

I see @alchemy has a Mallory super mag for a chev with two condensers. I know someone on here was doing new condensers and wanting a hamber to test them.
Ha got that wrong it was @tubman on the ford barn wanting someone to long term road test his condenser on an early ford. Any takers yet?

Yeah. I sent one to a guy down under who pulls a "caravan" (camping trailer) all over Australia with a '34 Fordor with a 21 stud engine, no less. Should be an adequate test.

I also thought @GMC BUBBA prefered the Bosch blue coils with the trash can condenser and a twin point Mallory . Perhaps he can chime in to confirm.

The Bosch 00012 blue coil for sure. They are around $39 on Amazon. I have bought them as cheap as $22.00. I use them in all my 8BA builds.
