I don't trust that FAQ for accuracy. And I'm too lazy to read through all that to see if there are any other discrepancies, BUT one error that sticks out is where they list a 371 for '61-3. There weren't any 371's after '60.

I'm going through old threads with stuff from all you rocketeers. I'm going to try to summarize it and post it here. I need to sort out a format too. Lots of in depth info, but it's all ****tered...

Yes, 6-71 supercharged Olds 371's and 394's were common in the early '60's g***ers.

I have never heard of anyone using NOS on one, but I always wanted to see how much one would wake up with it. Not nostalgic, but what a fun project that could be for grins.

  10. Just bought 394 in good condition. I´m thinking that engine, A pick up ect., you know. I don´t have any gearbox yet. Of course four on the floor would be first in my dreams. Which components would you use? Tell me about original factory manual boxes, please. Are they hard to find, expensive, usable and so on. If law stops my dreaming, I have to put flathead between the rails. I really liked to use that powerful enough for me, but heavy engine.
