Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by rat bastad, Dec 19, 2009.

  1. Anyone know if the yoke for an early (cast iron) Glide is the same as a T350/400 yoke?

Need to replace mine....pronto hehe !!

    Thanx

early powerglides and manual transmissions, up to around 63 were coarse spline, the 350 is fine spline. The 400 yokes (almost all of them) are larger diameter.

  3. A good driveline guy will let you borrow a couple yokes to see which works. Well, at least the guy who built my drive shaft let me borrow a couple.

  4. Squirrel I figured as much hehe - thanx for the feedback.

I believe the early PG/manul transmissions were 16 coarse spline. Other than the Bay, anyone know where I can grab a good yoke for a cast iron PG ?

Ill need to post it over here pronto.

    Thanx again....
