See Kirk! has the right idea! Like I said, you can Power Park at all the SoCal shows, Left the hood and show off that plaque, and all that jazz. I'm in this for the title, it's all I got, right?:)

Joking aside, this is cool and hope this makes this place that much more stronger in a Custom and Hot Rod community sense.

  4. I don't post too much and am not on line every day, but the info and pics I have received are invaluable. 50 bucks a year is well worth it.

  5. Ryan,
My wife sent my money yesterday. How long will it take to get my tag?

  7. After a post like that, maybe it's better if you don't join the alliance,WTF! It should NEVER be about the quantity of your involvement, but the QUALITY of your involvement.Do you feel less about a gift from a friend, based on it's price?Well maybe you do.Two BIG thumbs up Ryan.

At the moment I am a FNG and I sent in my money and you know what? I dont care if I get the Alliance tag now or after I post more. The tag wont change that I appreciate what this website is and what it provides.
Im an information junky and this sight has provided me alot of information I had been a voyuer much longer then I have been a member.
None can run a perferct message board, its a growing changing entity that will always evolve like any society.
Some people know alot about old school stuff some dont but its not what you know its what you try to provide for your society.
A bunch of great tech articles from a guy that is a car god is not any less then a great job on your car then someone who is still learning.
Both are supportive to the community. We are vain we like our worked being oggled ;)
Anyways this is getting long winded I just want to say it takes alot to run a website one of which is money.
I can only imagine Ryan's excitement about the Alliance I would be proud and excited like building a new rod. Its a new project and its great for us all.

True, but what if you feel some obligation for the entertainment and information you get here and the cost incurred to provide it? $50 is sure a measely sum stretched over a year for the access to the worlds greatest hot rod forum. I guess the welfare system is alive and well even here, where you don't have to pony up just stand at the trough and suck up the benefits. It's the American way:eek: :(

Cool, cool, cool! I just joined. I wish I had that coker tire discount last month, I just got a new pair of 700-16's. Glad to be on board!
