What is the easiest front subframe to install in a 50 Olds. Is there anyone that will just bolt in or under the stock frame? Jag? I don't need to hear "use the stock suspension", due to previous owners hacking it up.
What year olds ? when I had my 55 Buick a jag front end was a relatively easy swap from what I researched . Not sure how different an olds would be . rear suspension was almost a bolt in/ weld in .
I would contact Southern Rods and look at the Fatman front end. I've installed two on my cars and love them. Besides a good ride and handling, they give you more room for engine and accessory installation.
FWIW I used a '77 Cad Seville front clip on my '49 Cad, not a bolt in, but a great fit and still working after many years/miles. May be a little hard to find, but rebuild parts not hard to find...
64-72 Malibu & clones, 68-74 Nova & clones all work great...I've done dozens of em,...hardest part now is finding a donor...
