...or is that goober? Droppin by to say hi. Been surfing here on & off for several months; got introduced to the HAMB in a roundabout way thru some kinfolks that lurk here from time to time. Have always been interested in rods & kustoms; grew up with a 37 Chevy 2-dr sedan and a '39 chev p/u in dad's garage but never had the means to actually own one of my own until now. Just made a deal for a '50 plymouth 2-dr fastback so I guess I'm committed. Not sure about my plans for the car at the moment...currently it's been painted with a flat black basecoat and has red steelies (gasp). But I'm a ****er for reversed chrome wheels with shannon cones & pie crust whitewalls so maybe I'll start there. I kinda dig the oddball stuff as well, so maybe the flathead 6 will get an offy intake & split exhaust manifold....who knows. Anyway, it's good to be a part of the fold...I look forward to learning from yall. Gary
