Hi, I just found this site and joined. I'm from Jacksonville, N. C. near the southeastern coast. I have a 30 Model A hotrod and just pulled a 50 Chevy truck out of a barn that has housed it for 33 years. It was a local mechanic's and he died about 3 years ago. I was looking for a project to rat rod, but this truck is in great condition. I came here looking for info on chopping the top. I've never done it, but think that I can. I know it will be a long drawn out project, but I have plenty of good stuff to drive until it's done. I have fixed an S10 frame to put it on and have a lot of plans in my head. I bought a newly built 350 that I don't know anything about, but I'll have it run on a dyno to see if it's the one that I want. I will search for info on Chops before I ask questions, but I have plenty. Well my search begins. Harleyboy PS My pics are to big. I'll try to resize and post later.

Welcome to the site. I'm in eastern NC. And the use of the term ratrod is frowned apon around here.
