Well maybe not but I think these things are the coolest pieces I bought in a while. I got them for my next project. The Caddy Bubble top. So be on the look out this summer as I will begin working on it as soon as I get caught up with everything.

  4. Those look like imperial headlights...I passed on a pretty nice set earlier this year at Pomona...thought they were cool but the guy wanted a fortune but they were pristine...those should look good on your bubbletop project

These are not perfect but they're in pretty decent shape. I will have to have them rechromed but it will be worth it for the look of them.

61 and 62 both used the same ones, yours could be either.

    rad!

Looks looks like you plan on using a '61-'62' caddy? I was waiting for some one to take a stab at hacking one up and making a bubbletop out of one! They have the most rocket ship likeness in my opinion! Double fins!!!!

Well, I am just gathering parts and I promise this will begin in May of this year. I believe that my quarters are off a 62 I know it was a 2 dr hardtop and that the go on for ever. Oh yeah the light are heavey as hell. I was amazed when I picked them up.

  16. Man, I left a pair of those on a car at Eddie's Auto Parts when i ws a kid. About 16, I think. I always thought I'd get back up there and get them. I knew better than walk away from them but did any way. Dumbass!

BTW, that bubble's going to be sweet!

Man, I looked high and low for a good set of those a couple of years ago. I was going to use them on my 27 T Coupe. All the good ones I found were big buck$. Nice score.

Ozzie Nelson drove one of those in the old Ozzie and Harriet show.. not to be confused with Ozzie and Sharon.
