The only problem I see with it is it's not parked in my garage!

  11. That is a lot better than the new one they are building .
I don’t care if Mr Isky did give his blessing on the new one ,,,,this old style is much better .

Isky built the "T", and his friend Ed built the "A", two of my very favorite cars, ever, and this one here is really nice. Thanks for posting it.

I love it! The Isky T was definitely one of the examples I used putting together my own T. I like "T buckets" just fine but a turtledeck T also looks great without an altered wheelbase, no suicide axle way out front of the radiator and the rearend under the end of the deck instead of having the deck hang off into space, Isky's car really had the proportions right, and this one does a great job of matching up those proportions.

That is sweet, I have to agree with Squablow in that I really like those little Turtle Deck T's with the wheelbase and axle location where they rolled out of the box with. I'm a huge T bucket fan but Like that look better every time I see one.

I've never seen This T though. Thanks for sharing the photos Paul.

    Hey @Paul and @rob-redm
Just looking at the cool pictures, the 4th picture, the kid on the right with black converse sneakers with cuffs rolled up, is a friend of mine Dave Craver. I have lost touch with ever since I retired. I would assume he is a member of the HAMB?

Does he have a HAMB member name so that I could PM him?

    Thanks from Dennis Hicklin

  23. @41 GMC K-18 , Thats Dave Craver Jr... His Dad is in a few pictures ( now there is wealth of info , and was a racer .. he was doing the Golden Wheels for awhile) I see Jr and Sr from times at Swap meets and other car related events.

    Hey @rob-redm
    Thanks for the response.
Dave never told me his dad was a race driver, so that explains the drivers name on this cool ride, that I photographed down at the "Hotrodarama", that was held in Tacoma a number of years ago.

When I was driving for "BALLARD HARDWARE", Trident Seafood's was one of the daily customers that I used to deliver to. Trident also has a maintenance yard that is connected to the Ballard Ship Canal.
That is where I met Dave Jr. over twenty years ago.

We used to talk hot rods and I would see him at various swap-meets as well.
If you do run into him, say howdy to him, from me, Dennis Hicklin, the former truck driver, from the old Ballard Hardware.

This was me, back when I was driving for them.

I retired from FOSS Maritime back in 2019.
    Thanks from Dennis Hicklin.
