Just about anything but HOT WHEELS! From what I heard from a few guys, was Ed felt Mattel really screwed him when they reissued the Betnik Bandit, so he would refuse to sign them if people brought them to him at a show. I can't say I would blame him if that's true....

I bought my signed rat fink poster for $40. If only I would have bought that hand painted Von Dutch striping box for $3000 9 years ago before the whole Von Dutch craze started. I thought that price was a bit high. Who Knew a few years later the same box would be sold for six figures:mad: Im working on my time machine now, anybody want me to pick them up some vintage speed parts when I get it working??

Although I aggree with the comments on how cool it is to own these great pieces of history!! I have a bunch of that stuff too; The thing is that we all need to know what they are worth in the event of theft or God forbid fire!!! The cool factor is great but you need to keep track of that **** for your homeowners policy!!! Eventually it does all come down to some money!!!

I have no cool roth stuff. That's why I offered my last 20 for it. It is a cool piece of history. I am just jealous I guess.

When you die and your family is selling off your "prized" possesions...that's when you'll know if you got a good deal.

here's mine,16x20 got it at a Goodguys Pleasanton show in '92. I got his and Norm Grabowskis at that show. The best thing was, there were so few people there I got to talk to him (Ed Roth) for quite a while.

1961, on my 11th birthday, Dad took me to Roth's shop to have this sweatshirt made for me. Roth asked me if I wanted my name on the front with SPIDERS !!!!

I have had many many pieces of autographed Roth memorabilia.......that is my job - I buy collections of stuff from people.......I would say yes - that autograph is legit.

    As for the "worth"

you scored at $20 or under

I would put it out at my table for $50

then the guy would say - would you take $40
and I would say - NO

    or

if I needed gas money that show I would say yes!

if you put it on ebay I really doubt you will get over $50 for it

It is funny to me how many people have his autograph - and yet no one wants to sell it!

    ha

guess that is what makes it worth $$$$

    I would say you scored.....

and if anyone is in Minneapolis St Paul this weekend for the World of Wheels - come by and check out the Rat Fink booth - we have over 50 different shirts, stickers, models, toys, etc.

All officially licensed from the Roth estate

also - Mazooma 1 - I sold an original airbrush shirt Big Daddy did back in late 90s for over $1K

so I would say yours has got to be at least $2K

    what do others think?

not that it matters cause it is going to stay put I would ***ume......but that is a REALLY great piece!
