I got Ed's autograph at the Indy World of Wheels show in February of 2000. Actually, I asked him to sign two of these show papers so I could give one to a friend that is also into hot rods--and he really appreciated it. Ed was more than happy to give me his autograph. My buddy's Roth autograph is tacked to the wall of his garage as is appropriate. Would I sell mine? Probably. But right now it's something neat to have, so I'll hold on to it. Plus I got a big kick out of doing something nice for my buddy!
Your right. I'll never sell it. Its even in my will, so when I croak it will go to the right place. I remember pouring over the Roth catalog for days trying to select the style I wanted. I walked in with a page from the catalog to show Ed which one I wanted. This catalog was from about a year later...
that is too cool....yet another reason that the cool stuff happened in california....i still have to get my roth shirt framed....but atleast my kid digs his stuff as much as i do , so i know my stuff is safe...
I'M NOT GOING TO FRIKEN SELL IT AND I DID'NT BUY IT FOR HOW MUCH IT"S WORTH. I LOVE MODELS AND HE IS ONE OF MY IDOLS....end of story
