OK, people.........here goes: Just found this site, and thought I would post my first question, as there seems to be a lot of knowhow here!! Where is a good place to start to find Edmunds Custom speed equipment info? Maybe I am already in the right spot? I was looking for info on '37-'48 Caddy 346 flathead aluminum heads and 2 2bbl aluminum manifold. I have a set, and find precious little info on them on the internet. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!

I know everybody hates this guy, but he does have a little usefull info about halfway down this page about Edmunds. http://www.vintagespeed.com/
Try the latest issue of " The Rodders Journal " there is an article called " Who the hell was Eddie Edmunds " or this blog for more info.... http://eddie-edmunds.blogspot.com/
I am not sure what these are, and I tried to post pictures, but they are too big.....and I don't know how to shrink them! (Computer dummy here!!)
Flop......you will be getting an e-mail shortly! If anybody can tell me how to shrink these pictures, I will post them here! Duh!
Get a photobucket.com account. Upload the pics to it. Copy and paste the link below the picture that starts and ends with "img" Or email the pictures to me and I will post them for you. fearofx@hotmail.com
The problem with linking the photos from another website is that when your account there goes stale or the website goes away the pictures disappear from here. I personally think its a better idea to resize them and load them on the hamb so they they are preserved forever. Any computer running windows with office (Word, etc) will have Picture Manager which will allow you to resize a picture in about 10 seconds. There are also a million free picture editing tools that will do the same job.
This does not apply to photobucket. The only way it will dissppear from here is if you move or delete the picture from you account. Or you exceed your bandwidth. (this is really hard to do) I have pictures on sites that have been there for 5+ years without any problems..
Thanks for the help, everybody! Does this work??? -------------------------------------- http://s258.photobucket.com/albums/hh255/R-body_mopar/Edmunds/?albumview=grid -------------------------------------- These parts are for sale, and will be put in the classifieds here, and several other places; I have had many, many inquiries for pictures!!
Click here and ask this guy: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=5780 Cyclone Kevin here on the HAMB does all sorts of things with performance 346 heads... and I think makes new ones. ~Jason
Yeah that works. If you post the link with the IMG before and after it the picture will show up in the post. That is a sweet set of Edmunds by the way!
We put two Edmunds dual intake manifolds on 54 GMC 302 fire engines trying to milk more road power out of them. It worked. We did have to use a set of headers but the power production was impressive. We had five and ten mile runs with 4-6% grades and we needed the power. We also flow tested those manifolds and found that they were very efficient. Those rigs were in service until 1968 and kept on doing their jobs. Normbc9
Apparently, my classified ad has been deleted, due to non-compliance with the rules.......BUT....... these items are still for sale, until I can figure out how to re-list them correctly! (Sorry, guys.....computer dummy here!!) Sorry for the inconvenience; I am not a regular member here, and just trying to thin out my inventory of unneeded parts!
I looked at the ad this AM...I think someone replied to your ad with the warning that a price is mandatory on the classifieds....That's because it's not an auction site.. (IE "best offer")
I have an old edmunds custom intake for a 235 chevy. It has twin 2 barrel carbs. Would any one know what somethinght like that is worth?
