Hi, didn't know if anyone had any experiance with the Eddie Meyer high rise heated intake. This would be used on an 8ba. Thanks-Joe
So long that it isn't meant for a V8-60 (I doubt it is) it would be fine for a 8BA. But you'll have to use an earlier fuel pump stand ('48 or before) with breather so you can get oil in there.
Thanks for the info. I guess my question is are they a good intake for the street,or would a super dual or three two's be better? Thanks
I have been helping a friend with his Eddie Meyer hi rise. Car has a 1953 Merc, aluminum heads, block relieved, ports matched and a c4 trans. Pretty radical cam and two holley carbs. As your signature says its all in the details. Do not try to plug both power valves. Yes it will run on the street and looks real nice. Jets and timing are real critical. We over heated it in the garage in less then five minutes. Have a real reputable carb man do a rebuild and start with 52 jets. You will have to do multiple plug checks and vary the jetting from side to side. Go for it.
