Trying to begin to get my ducks in a row, or at least in the same time zone. I'm determined to use this 6x2 on my Y-block, and got to looking at it tonight. Wondering if the HAMB brain trust knows what the threading is on the 2 threaded water inlets in the front of each side. Threads on the driver's side look good, passenger's side (shown), not so good. I have no idea what thread this is, and don't want to experiment and screw up these threads even more. Hoping I don't have to take it to the hardware store, or guess. Anybody know? Thanks! Never owned one but just looking at the water inlet compared to that 3/8 bolt hole I’d say it’s 3/8” NPT, in street slang that’s 3/8 pipe.

I would also guess 3/8" NPT. If you are not familiar with pipe threads, the T in the thread designation stands for tapered. So when trying to fix the threads be careful not to thread in the tap too deep and create hole in which your fitting will not tighten. Just go slow and check often if it's your first try. Not rocket science. I usually use some Teflon tape and some thread sealer on that type of fitting.
