Hey folks, I have a regular hi-rise intake on a 59a style flathead. I am running what is thought to be a 1938 Ford generator. The generator slightly interferes with the front Stromberg carb. I am thinking about spacing out the generator about 1/2. Has anyone ever ran into this issue before?

If you space the generator forward a half inch, make sure to get the belt with the notches in it to bend forward too.

Seriously, I had a similar problem with a Weiand hi rise, and I used a shorter belt. Not easy to get it on, but it allows the generator to be low enough under the carb.

I raised the carbs. Helps performance looks good and the generator fits underneath front carb!
