Edsel mileage maker six 223?

Methinks I found a decent oddball to power my 1957 f-100, aside from the paper air cleaner element hangin over the side like an old Buick 8 without the oil bath, is there anything else different? Will a 262 block take this Edsel head? Or are they like Jimmy motors, where pistons have to match heads?

 

its just a regular old ford 223 six, any part that'll fit a ford will fit an edsel
