A buddy of mine has a '59 Edsel with manual steering. He needs thrust bearings, part number B8KY-3B736-A. I have not found anywhere that would have them. He has tried the local bearing shops. It is a unique bearing, a caged tapered ball bearing, not roller like most. Early Falcons and Comets used it but they are not the same size. Anyone know what manual box would fit in this car in place of the stock box easily? Or anyone know where to get the replacement bearings? Thanks.
