Looking forward to some pics! I love those ugly cars, and a longroof to boot!

  2. Always loved the looks of the 58s, but have always thought the front bumper a bit heavy looking. looks more like a highway barrier than a car bumper.

Here's some progress pictures of my wagon... I bought this from Dangler. Just finished up a c-notch in rear and triangulated 4 link.[IMG]

Thought I'd post pics of mine too!! It's a '59 9-Passenger. I'm still looking for a 3rd row seat if anyone knows of where I can find one...

I am not sure if old car freaks (I'm one) are familiar with Edsel parts, but the rearends from '58's and '59's were basically the same as Ford counterparts. They were all 9" dropouts, very narrow so they fit great, and they WERE cheap. Just thought I would pass this on. I've seen more Edsels in old salvage yards then '57-'59 Fords, so don't pass one up if the rearend is there.

I saw one here in Central Mississippi a year or so ago, looked like as Hamber might be the owner. Black with a not restored, but not neglected look.Never saw it again, musta passed thru
