Just playin around at the holy grounds in this A model ford. Striped down racer. Lots of smiles and pictures. I got it up on the pipe in third gear she’s a runner. The lawn chair was the funniest ride Iv had in years. Could not stop laughing out asses off. Better than any roller coaster. Injoy
'Tell Ya little story bout a Man named Jed'...You guys had fun it seems...What a land of iconic ions...thanks for sharing this...hope there's more...
B Gas Lakester. So it's something between 272 and 440 cid. I'm guessing these guys read all about center of pressure, center of gravity theory and this is what they came up with.
It's removed before it goes in the trailer. I watched it make 2 passes from our patrol spot. It appears very stable which is what I'm sure they were looking for.
Thanks Jimmy, what really happened was I misinterpreted What I was seeing! That tail piece is way out there. If you don't try something, you'll never know .
There's a photo of Stan Back's roadster at the starting line on the SCTA-BNI Website but apparently he was not there to see it.
Post #2, that's funny. To think I got crap for not wearing a helmet while putting around on my mini bike while there.
Yea we watched a red stream liner go 297 mph on Sunday or 294 something like that. Pretty good for el mirage.
It’s an off road park so all motor scooters have to wear helmets but driving a car you don’t. And since A model fords didn’t come with seat belts you don’t need em.
I would of loved to see the Stan roadster with the straight six in it still. I have a ford straight 6 that I will one day hop up.
That’s awesome, looks like you had a lot of fun spectating on the model a. Wish I was there! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
