Y'all need to bring a wash tub or some sort of fire pit next time, trust me the BLM likes to give out tickets, and they ain't cheap. Just so you know, here's some of the rules @ Elmo NO glass bottles of any kind NO ground or open fires, gotta use some sort of a fire pit NO wood with nails in it NO go-karts @ midnight, drunk, with 3 passengers (don't ask) Speed limit is posted, OBEY it, trust me on this one too NO fireworks, guns, bombs, flamethrowers (again, don't ask) I'm not trying to be the El Mo nazi, just been going long enough to know what will get you hassled/ticketed/arrested, hope you all had fun, El Mo and B-Ville are like Heaven on Earth Skip
[ QUOTE ] Y'all need to bring a wash tub or some sort of fire pit next time, trust me the BLM likes to give out tickets, and they ain't cheap. [/ QUOTE ] I'm with you totally, and am familiar with the BLM enough to know officers Barry, Brian, and Gina by name. We had a new officer come by to visit. He caught us with some 'native' wood that still had nails in it, but there was no complaint about our fire being on the ground. I've never heard of that out there before. Either it's something new or folks are worrying needlessly. Occasionally, they require fire permits, but most often the officer will write one for you on the spot if you're not being a prick. Fires are required to be extinguished, of course. I know the SCTA is encouraging use of washtubs, but I haven't heard it's required. Couldn't find you at all out there, Skip. Real crowded day on the return road side. Didn't look too awefully hard as a result. Maybe see you next time out. -jf
Assholes!! Nice pics! Wish I coulda been there! I'm gonna call my friends Bob and Judy tonight... See what happened with them.. I couldn't find there name in the results on the SCTA webpage... Wayno... You've seen them around..? Or don't you know 'em... They're good friends with the Kelly's...
