El Mirage Pix From Today 10/22/06

Forgot to mention,,,great pictures & thanks for the effort.
I'm working on the picture deal slow but sure.
Going to El Mirage is kind of haunting for me.
My dad ran his Fuel Hemi tank there in '56,,,199 mph.
He never broke 200 on the dirt.
On 4th of July,1971 he fell on a dirtbike & lost the use of his left eye,& left arm.This happened around 11 PM,,full moon,Lake Bed lit.
I was there & only 14.

So what if it's an old thread, that's one of the HAMB's best attributes, the buried treasure. Just browsing old stuff looking to add to my saved hotrod photos and figured these pics need to see the light of day again.
