This is one of the greatest cars I've seen come together on the hamb. Just looking at the pictures makes me wanna go fast.
Yeah, we drove onto the lake and came through a hugh dust storm as we were thinking this was a bad day to come, but it cleared up about half way through the lake. Then it was pretty nice except for the wind.....
Bobby, I too am bummed about the rain out. I have seen your car at El Mirage and I am very impressed with the build quality and the enthusiasum for LSR by both you and Lucky. I was looking at your blog and saw the article on the 12 Port belly tank. This is one that I am not familiar with. I could not read the scanned page and was wondering if you could print a copy and I will pick it up at El Mo on the 22nd. My father, Harry Warner, was involved with the manufactur of 12 port heads and I am trying to collect as many articles I can which have cars using his heads. Thanks - Dan Warner
That my friend is pure class - what a nasty ride !! I was wondering where that tank had gotten to WELL DONE !! Rat
Fantastic lakester! As handsome as anything in the day or now. What speeds are you running at this point? Mike
HELL YES!!!!! This is awesome! I loved the pics of the ride on the blown banger post. Well done to what I think is the HAMB car of 2006!!!!!!!! How about some u-tube videos of just the motor running, I want to hear that thing!!! Danny
Mike, I'll let you know how fast we go after next weekend. If El mirage doesn't get rained out too. Danny. You rock. Here is a video link of the very first run under her own power. Not too fast,... Just breakin her in. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6362765766868854115 .
That is, without a doubt, the coolest thing I've ever seen on here!!! superbad!!! (i gotta say: i like the Al skin on the trailer too)
