Maybe not. I just got an email from the Secretary of the Road Runners saying the lake bed is still closed. Any more rain before Saturday, and it will remain closed. Check with officials before heading out.

EL MIRAGE UPDATE – 5/13/15


El Mirage Lakebed will remain closed - SCTA President & Race

Director Bill Lattin is meeting with Katrina the BLM Representative

for the Barstow / El Mirage Region on Friday Morning - If there has

been no moisture added to the lakebed it will be opened after their

meeting - If there has been moisture, El Mirage will remain closed. We

will update you as soon as we have any more information.

The roadster is in the shop ready for the trailer.

 

Bobby Sights says it was raining at Calloway's this afternoon. That's not on the lakebed, as you well know. I'd guess it's about 200 feet away.
