I've got a Porter Cable and like it a lot.

 

I use a Dewalt electric DA and it came with an adapter to attach the hose from my Shop Vac. The vacuum makes a little noise but the garage is almost dust free. Try it, you'll like it.

 

i seen alot of dewalts which one did you buy? they got like 5-6 at lowes

 

Many years of use out of my Porter Cables They make different models
that are of great use. I have air powered da s as well. Ill grab an electric more often than not.

 

The Ryobi sanders and other electric tools are good value and work well. I have a big 2 stage compressor but only use it for air die grinders and small cutoff wheels. Got by for many years with just a small Sears compressor.
