Hot Rods Electric fuel pump

Hi guys,
I am looking for an opinion about something.......Where would be a good place to mount an electric fuel pump? At the rear near the fuel tank or forward closer to the motor? I will not be using it full time, just for easier start ups! I plan on having a star stop switch located under the dash. Sorry if this topic has been discussed before........

By the tank it is still a better pusher then a puller even if all you are using it for is a primer.
