One note on the 'Bruno' controller. I can't find it on Ebay now. I'm hoping there're others out there. Mine works good. I was able to drive the '54 out of the garage, down the street, turn around and come back. The power steering was sweet!

I feel like see a lot of these electric power steering post, but don't see where. If your steering gearbox is loosely-goose or worn, electric power steering may or may not help.
You still have to rebuild the original box right? I'm otherwise it would always be busy correcting the steering right?

Yeah, you'll need a decent steering box. If it's worn out, rebuild it. Pretty easy to do. I tore my box apart and all the bearings and surfaces were in good shape. I replaced an oil seal, stuffed it full of John Deere cornhead grease and called it good.
