This seems WRONG. Should be the ST wire thru maze to starter. Remember the pole that lit up when switch was turned to right? It was ST.
Trace wire from coil negative (+ ground only) and connect to IGN. Retest. Update.

By this test, wiring to switch is wrong or switch is NOT working. Probably wires connected to wrong poles on switch.
If above posts do not solve problem, you may have to figure out which wire brings power In to switch to be distributed by switch positions. My bet is wire attached to AM pole. If you can disconnect this wire from switch, connect battery cables, and get power at that wire, AND NO WHERE ELSE on the key, in all positions, That Probably Is Power In. Reconnect to AM post.
Read above test connections post and test that each post gets power in proper order. If you get power at each post, switch is working. You can run wire directly from each switch post to coil and solenoid to test. Make sure IG and coil connection DO NOT go out when switch is turned to start position.

    Update??

Where did you go, neub? Probably just forgot about those who were trying to help you when you got it running. There's a thread about people not following up.

Been missing for a minute....sorry guys.

Figured it out though. The bolt that the wire goes to from the distributor wasn't isolating power. Once I got rid of that bolt and wired other directly inside...it runs!
