I bought an aftermarket turn signal and was wondering about the rear turn signals. Would i have to add an independent turn signal bulb or can i splice the turn signal wire into the brakelight wire. am i asking for trouble or will the signal for the turn light cancel the brake light and run the signal?

 

how many wires on this turn signal switch? if 7 or more the brake lights probably go through the switch so you can use the same bulb for both.

I came across a old signal switch the other day and only had 3 wires,guess they still had hand signal back then.If more wires the switch will cancel the other brake light.Just slice into brake light wires.
