I could use some help with a engine combo because I'm really camshaft stupid. The engine was assembled and stored for 2 yrs and the owner has no paper work on the build. Fairly easy to ID most of the components but had to pull the cam for ID. Here is the combo 355sbc with speed pro dished pistons, pro topline cast heads 180cc intake 64cc chambers. Compression 9.6 to 1. stock rotating assb. Elgin cam E1120P http://catalog.elginind.com/app/Engine_tech.asp?part=E-1120-P&category=Camshaft+High+Performance The engine will be put in a 81 Vette. The car weights 3200lbs. 200r4 auto trans with 2200 stall. Stock rear gear 2:87. Not a daily driver or a show car. I do have a lead foot. Thanks for helping out.

I'd say the cam kinda fits the engine. Use the .015" thick steel head gaskets when you put it back together. Also a 600 cfm carb and dual plane intake ( Performer or similar) .
