It would be helpful to to an introduction. Tell us something about yourself, your cars and how you found this board. Is your friend Tony a member of this board? If so, what is his board name?
I am sorry about going about this all wrong. I am Tony, I live in Henderson, Ky. I have been an Autobody repairman for over 30 years. I have a 1955 Chevy 4-door wagon that I am going to build, well start working on soon I hope. I am a 12 year member of the Standard 1320 e-mail group and Gas-fx group as well. I have been a gearhead all of my adult life. somewhat put on hold by a daughter in college, Law School. I raced a BB alky injected 59 Anglia in S/Pro and S/Gas for a while till my daughter started racing Jr drgsters. Anyway I have been mostly a lurker here as I love what you guy's are doing and how you are keeping this real and sort of saving the Hot Rodding Heritage that I was afraid would be lost until I found this movement. Anyway my friend or co-worker as is the case has a timing chain problem on his way to Taladega. He can make the repairs and has the parts to do so but can't get the balancer bolt off. The O'Rielly parts store across from his motel has not been much help. Which I will remeber for future use. Anyway that's the story right now and well his weekend is being ruined by no rentals available and not enough tools to do the job. I need him back to work for monday as we are covered up at work.
it would also help if you posted this on the main board. this is the intro section. the only time most people look here is if they're bored or have a friend joining.
