Jr & John Marks had a great idea for the people hanging around between Carlisle & Hershey.
Swap meet & auto auction at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. Cheap swap spaces & VERY reasonable fee to sell a car & benefit the museum! Museum will be open & lots of stuff to buy, what could be better!

The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing is excited to host the first annual Auto Auction
and Swap Meet. Our objectives of the Auction and Swap Meet are to bring people with
an interest in Automobiles and Racing together at the Museum and Fairgrounds to buy,
sell and swap some of our treasures. All of the proceeds from the Auction and Swap
Meet will benefit the Museum and Fairgrounds, which is a non- profit organization.

The highlight of our first annual Auction is a vehicle that is iconic with hot rodding and
cl***ic cars. It is a 1950 Mercury Coupe. It was owned by the late Smokey Snellbaker.
Smokey was also an icon in Open Wheel Racing. He competed in Open Wheel racing
in Central PA for decades. He had great success winning for numerous car owners on
many tracks, multiple Track Championships and is in the National Sprint Car Hall of
Fame. His Mercury will be auctioned off at 1:00 PM. The proceeds for the sale of this
car will all go to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. There has been much interest
in this car. We will be accepting reserve bids before the start of the auction. A signed
form and proof of payment will be required (credit card or letter of bank credit).

The auction is filling up and I have alot of preregistered vendors. If you want to vend at this event you can just show up the day of the swap and it will still only be $20. Sunday is the day of the swapmeet and if you want to stay set up on Monday the day of the auction that would be fine.
