I recently placed a large order for EMS repair panels for my '54 Ranch Wagon from Shoe Box Central. As usual the parts came quickly, well packed, and shipping was reasonable. Included in the order were several sets of body braces, both left and right sides. A week or so later my body guy called and said that one of the brace sets included 2 left side braces, no right side. I called Shoe Box and explained the situation. Since they didn't have the wrong brace in front of them they really couldn't initially do much. It was decided that I would order and pay for another right side brace and after I received it I would send some photos so we could sort the problem. The newly ordered right side brace shipped that day and came within days. Unfortunately it again was a left side brace even though the label on the brace clearly indicated it was a right side brace. Long story short after more back and forth phones calls to Shoe Box and emailing some photos it was determined that all but one of the right side braces they had in stock were really left side braces even though they were labelled right side. By this time the body guy couldn't wait any longer for the correct brace so he modified the incorrect one I initially received. Point of all this is that Shoe Box stepped up and sent me a UPS call tag to return the mislabeled brace and credited my CC for a problem that was obviously EMS not theirs. Of course I'm out the labor cost to modify the wrong brace but that's on me since I choose not to wait for the correct brace to be shipped.
