Enclosed drive shaft

Hello everyone,53 Chevy 6 cyl,3 on the tree,Drive shaft making noise blew tranny fluid out the front of it.Had it on the lift when running and making noise when in gear.Hard to fin d someoneto rebuild it.Should I just go for open one diff year change the rear and t 5 tranny?What do you think,Thanks for any ideas.
