WOW. That is great. The car was for sale and sold for around $59000, I heard. There is a youtube video of a walk around it. Looks to be extremely well built.
There is a HAMB'r that is building a 64 or 65 altered wheelbase Tempest/GTO. Don't recall what he goes by though, have not seen him post in quite a while, maybe others will chime in. He is the guy with the blown M/T Hemi Pontiac engines. He also has one of these engines in a boat. Can't remember what kind of boat it is, bet it is fast though. He might have some leads for you @Old TFFdriver
Steve Barcak is the guys name, goes by applekrate(HAMB avatar). His profile says he is in Arizona. He posted on the HAMB Tuesday. Here are links to two of his threads. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...ey-thompson-jack-gifford-steve-barcak.316668/ http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...empest-funny-car-build-for-the-street.656977/
Back in 64, you either ran fuel or gas, alc was not considered a fuel. If you are not going to run fuel then you only need hat nozzles, port nozzles only muck things up
