    He put in a new cam and lifter set too..
     
  3. Did you check the fuel pressure with a different gauge like Darby suggested? Try another fuel pump?

    OK I put the NEW coil and plugs in at lunch and it looks like it may have FIXED the problem.

    I can't belive I have 4 ****ING bad coils at home but at this point it looks like it! I was only able to run it for about 15 min at lunch so I will know toinight if it is fixed. I am going to head out to a rod run tonight so that should be a good test:).

    If it does fix it ..... THANKS to eveyone that tossed ideas at me! If not I'll be back for more.

    I had a similar problem 30 years ago .If I remember right it was a missmatched coil.Some have a internal resistor and some used a external resistor.Lot of brain cells over the dam.

    well i spose if it was just the coil you got one hell of a tune up in finding that out! should run great now with all that new work done lol
