Still looking for help with identifying this Semi...the number on the bell housing is 13233291. I can't find that exact number on any list. I am ***uming it is a 52-53-54 as their numbers are close. I also ***ume that it is a 331. Any one know for sure or can direct me to a correct listing. Thanks so much.

  2. Is a Semi kind of like a Hemi?

Are there any numbers stamped into the top of the block at the front of the valley cover?

Semi-hemi … term used in old car mags for the poly motors. With no picture, we can't tell what you got.

As I understand it. The numbers at the front of the block, forward of the valley cover would be C51-8-1001 for a 1951 engine. C52-8-1001 for a 52. And C53-8- 1001 for a 53. Don't worry about the 1001. Serial number. All 180 HP.
