COE Engine Out

    I didn't know the engine would fit through the grill opening. That makes thing a lot easier. Now I wonder if a 289/302 Ford engine will fit through the grill. That is the smallest modern Ford V8 engine I know of and plan on using.

    Yes it will, thats what I am fitting a SBF 302.:)

    Hey Al, did you get the 302 mounted yet? I was wondering if the original dog house would still work.

    I havent yet, unfortunatly I've been ill for about three weeks and its put me back a little.
    I have done quite a lot of measuring and I am pretty certain that the unit will fit in the dog house.
    I am getting back into the swing of it again now, so I will let you know.:D

    Even if the SBF will clear the doghouse, but headers may not. You may have to run cast iron manifolds.
