Planning out my next project, looking to build a '67 Ford LTD into a daily driver. Car originally had a 390, which is missing. Would anybody have or know where I could get a set of the engine stands/pedestals for either the small block or the 240 six? Not sure which route I'm taking yet, the ******'s gone too, so I'm guessing if it had the 390, it had the C-6, which would mean I'd also need the small block / six cyl ****** crossmember, since they didn't come with the C-4....... How about an AOD? I'm guessing that would fit into the full sized body, too? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

  2. C6 or FMX was in it
A small block or 240/300 6cyl tramn will fit the small block ford. The 390 bell housing is different.
If memory is correct the 144/200/250 6cyl transmission will work with the small ford v8
Flywheels should bolt up but check the balances first
Trans x member should be able to be relocated if needed. mounts? Build em
