installed new carbs on flathead v8, 2 deuce manifold,mallory dual point ignition rebuilt engine wouldnt start replaced needle and seat and accelerator pump on NEW CARBS,it started and ran great for several days.When starting today engine races out of control.No vacuum leaks,idle stop backed all the way out,hitting a blank anyone have an suggestions?
I had a loose throttle plate once, that would hang up after the plate moved. check the throttle shaft for binding. If they have fast idle cams, check that too.
