I have a 352 ford engine that needs more work that I thought once i got it down to the short block. I'm trying to decide if i should do this motor, or look for something else. I'm just trying to get some kind of idea what I'm looking at to get the following done. Tank the block Bore it .30 over install new cam bearings Turn the crank .10 Tank the heads and install hardened seats I don't need firm prices, just looking for estimates...especially from guys in the Minnesota area who may have a shop to recommmend to do the work.

I will list labor prices if you brought it to my shop all diss***enbled I would: Hot tank block clean $75.00 R & R camshaft bearings and soft plugs $50 Line hone main bores $150 Bore / Hone 8 cylinders $150 Regrind crankshaft $165 Check big ends of rods $4.00 each Rebuild big ends of rods as needed: Add $6.00 each [pin bushings should be checked also] Valve job [diss,clean,grind valves and seats. $165 pr. 16 bronze K-line valve guides $100 8 hard exhaust seats installed $120 We always use new stainless exhaust valves $12 each. Hot tank misc parts: pan,timing cover,valve covers, intake $75 We always diss***emble the rocker shaft ***emblys and regrind the tips of the rocker arms. They must be done on a grinding fixture to get the correct arc. Almost always install new rocker shafts. Parts are a whole new posting but this should give you a close idea of labor.
