I snagged a project 327 this morning. It came with a decent block, 462 heads with what appears to be the larger valves, new .030 pistons, and new rings & bearings. Still need to track down a crank and other assorted bits, but I'm quite happy as I got it all for less than $100. :)

What I need help with is decoding the numbers on the deck pad at the front of the block. I'm not finding a proper match to them on the lists I've found online. The number is: K03 16KL. Can anyone help decode this?

I may also be buying the car this was intended to go in. I won't know for a few days if I can have it or not, but I'll be posting pics if I do get it.

You can tell by looking if they are the 2.02 valves, if they almost barely touch they are. Great score!!!

I think they're 1.94 valves based on measurements.
