Does anyone know if there were several different lengths of engine steady rods made? I have a '39 1/2 ton with a '46 239 engine. I have 3 sets of steady rods and all 3 are too short. One set is about an inch longer than the other 2 sets. The longest set is 12 3/4" from the front of the flange back to the center of the screw hole. These are still a little over an inch too short for the engine/frame setup I have. I cut one set and welded in a sleeve to get the correct length. Figured I could use this setup until I found the right length, if it exists.
