I need any and all info on swapping a mopar v8 ,secondary a slant six or last choice sbc into a 39 Dodge more door , I need all or any info pertaining to 38 - 48 cars ,seems the swap is basically the same for those years,problems , donor candidates, mounts,trans and rear end info, that book from HR has a section on a 47 0r 48 cpe that used A body parts from what I remember it was a breeze,My copies of both books were lost in my home fire in 88',thanks I would purchase both books if no needs em.

It would apply to 2 + 4dr models except Pu's from 38-48 with some minor deviations,possibly PU's too , I am sure the 46-8 cpe article I mentioned (had a 340 in it)would be in a couple of peterson publihing books at the same time -everything else was, they have always been pete' and repeat to cover as much readership as possible (and to get their moneys worth out of it as filler if nothing else)
