what do pink tutus have to with traditional hot rodding? (besides the fact that so many of you wear one...)

you ever get sucked into reading an entire build thread and, despite the complete awesomeness that has happened, feel disappointed that its not done at the end of the thread? Thats what just happened to me. Great work! I cant wait to see it all come together!

You talkin' ta ME? :D I'm andy, there are a few jon's running around this thread though... I got these from Howell's, they actually fit pretty well, surprisingly. The beadline on the side is a hair too wide and needs to be narrowed, also, the curvature is a little straighter than the wheelwell. They fit pretty well at the rear panel area. All in all, worth the money. A nip, tuck, and a little hammer/dolly work and you're in biz... probably not for a perfectly restored orig car, but perfectly suitable for a hot rod.

    No problem, me too!

Well, got one side almost finished up, still needs a little beating/trimming and some work along the gutter but damn... I like it! Cost me $310 in patch panels and about 4.5 hours of work so far.

Got a good start on the other side too...
    patch panel to be...

    tacked together...

bout half way done... I gotta say I'm really starting to dig this TIG machine. SO much easier to work sheet metal with!
