I'm trying!!! Umm......ask me tomorrow! haha!!! Actually I have brakes and now all I'm trying to do is seal up a leak at the residual valves. Once I get that done, I can put the floor/ interior back in and take her for a spin. We'll see.

    Andy,

Your coupe came out killer, man. Ted Holz and I are driving to the Showdown in my rusty modern Econoline van towing his Airstream as we're going to vend. Can't wait to see your car in person!

Fuel tank and seat are situated and holes drilled. I have a little grinding and to do in a few places and I'm gonna shoot the interior panels with some bedliner before bolting them down permanently.

Thanks man, these cars are a bit smaller than that "big" late model coupe you've been working on! Less surface area, hahaha!

Thanks Brian, I know the feeling... I stopped working on it about 9pm last night. I didn't go into the house until after 10... just standing there staring in awe. I don't know if I was sleep deprived or if it just had finally sunk in that this wicked, whacked coupe in my garage was actually a reality... or maybe the shocking juxtaposition of seeing a nearly complete car after months of staring at a floppy, rickedy, rusty, crooked pile of tin? who knows... I was "hot rod hypnotized!"

    Andy,

You definately nailed the early lakes look with the chop and stance.

I love it with the hood on to hide the OHV sins ( just kidding!).

Thanks Kev, you going to spring waterdown? I'm thinking I might drive this beast up...

Thanks Tex, haha! This car was about a week and a day away from 59ab power. I sold my last good core to Zach Suhr and THEN found the car!

Ran fuel lines tonight, cinched up the steering box, adjusted the clutch and brake pedal linkages, mounted a fuse block,,, Leroy came over and hooked me up with a few old SW gauges, thanks man, lifesaver!

Gonna do just that if all goes well, just talked to Leroy... he's gonna drive his 5w up too.

Oh yea... My pal Fedcospeed was talking about that, I'll have to check with the boss and make sure the calendar is clear.

    thanks man, me too!

Hahahaha! Not necessary but I appreciate the thought. That's the plan though! Gonna stop in my home town and visit mom and pop, hit up the Flyers Roadster club picnic, and then scoot over to latimore.

Thanks Jeff, it's all part of the process I suppose. Fun anyhow!

Ah you gonna be there too eh?;)
